| VVAO Grundtvig Workshop in Amsterdam
Members from seven UWE Member-NFAs are participating in the Workshop “Leadership in female voluntary organisations”, organised by the Dutch NFA, VVAO. These ladies come from Northern Cyprus, Romania, Slovenia, Turkey, Switzerland, Spain and The Netherlands.
Eileen Focke, Willemijn van der Meer, Rosy van der Vlies and three other VVAO members are taking care of a Workshop that starts with the arrival of the first ladies in Amsterdam on Saturday morning, November 26th and will end with the departure of the last ones on Sunday, 4th of December.
Twenty-four ladies were trained during this 8-day period on issues like Management Theories, The Basics of Change and Project management, Effective Team Training, the Cultural Dimensions in Projects, Stakeholders Analysis in Project Organization, Automatization, Creating a Web-Talent-bank etc. etc.
Although it is a full program that requires a lot of hard work, between training sessions there is of course time to relax and to visit the highlights of beautiful Amsterdam.
On Tuesday evening, November 29th, the 26 ladies, for a short time, were guests in the home of one of the Amsterdam members for a drink, a bite and a chat. The atmosphere was great and the air was full of energy and power. The UWE ladies are looking forward with interest to the coming days.
