University Women of Europe is a network of university women associations and federations
from 22 countries working in partnership with the Council of Europe
and the European Women's Lobby to address issues impacting the lives
of women throughout the European community.
We provide opportunities for European affiliates of the International Federation of University Women (IFUW) to cooperate at various regional levels, to collaborate with European international organizations and to promote IFUW's programme in Europe. |
ANNOUNCEMENTS From 3 to 6 September, UWE held its annual Conference and General Assembly in Vienna, Austria. With over 140 participants it was a lively and successful event. Griselda Kenyon is the new President and Gerda Leushuis is continuing her task as Secretary.
