  • Planning for Change: A handbook for training workshop leaders in organizational developmente and strategic planning (1995)
    assists national affiliates in taking a new look at their organizations, defining basic aims and establishing short-term goals and objectives that will enable each association to evolve into the organization it wants to be. While this publication is now six years old, the content is still very relevant. Excerpts available in html.
     
  • Planning for Growth: A Guide to Developing Successful Membership Strategies (1998) looks at the links between strengthening programme and strengthening membership; it shows how national affiliates can target groups of potential members and adapt their programmes to meet the needs of both new and existing members.

  • Handbook for Projects: Development, Management and Fundraising (2001) follows the basic steps involved in developing successful projects, from the planning and implementation cycles through monitoring and evaluation. One section looks at fund-raising and potential sources of funding.
