1. to study the Lima Declaration circulated by the World University Service on academic freedom and the autonomy of institutions of higher education;
2. to take part in international discussions and consultations at the highest level, with a view to promulgating an international Declaration on Academic Freedom and Autonomy of Institutions of Higher Education.
