- Intensify the professional network function of
IFUW by setting up a worldwide talent bank
- Support national branches with setting up an attractive
annual activity Programme
- Advising national branches on sisterhood exchanges
- Enlarge the number of Young members worldwide, by sharing
my own experiences and giving tips and tricks to NFAs how
to be attractive for YM
- Renew the tool kit for National Leaders: it is important
that the national branches attract enough capable leaders,
so you need to have your pipe line filled. How do you promote
your NFA, what is required to lead a female voluntary organization
and what does it contribute to your own development
- Strengthen the regional groups, as their leaders form
a group of potential future IFUW board and committee members |
| What do you see as the role of the Board? |
° The Board stimulates national branches to
develop activities on the triennial Programme for Action
° Stimulate the IFUW staff
° Coordinate the Committees
° The board members can be consulted by national board
members on NFA issues
° They prepare an attractive triennial Conference together
with the IFUW staff and the Status of Women Committee
° The board members act as role models
° The board members facilitate the contacts between
members worldwide

Board members serve as committee liaisons or have special responsibilities in the following areas: international advocacy, programme, projects, membership, communications, finance, resolutions, fellowshis and assistance to displaced women graduates.
For which of these roles are you most suited and why? |
1. I am most suited for the programme committee as
I have developed MDG training material and developed University
courses on Management.
2. Projects is my daily work, so I am more then happy to
share my knowledge and contribute to IFUW projects
3. Communication; I have started the UWE list serve and
other mailing lists, I also introduced a widespread UWE
newsletter
