· Dr. Simon has been general accountant of important companies of the textile branch and later like independent and advisory consultant of private companies and of the government sectors.

· Titular Professor full time at Business School UNAM.

· Tutor of masters and doctorate of the Program in Management sciences, UNAM; she has directed more than 70 theses of degree, masters and doctorate.

· She has participated as jury of important national awards and editorial and evaluation committees, as well as scholarships committees.

· At Business School UNAM Nadima has held academic-administrative positions
· She is author and coauthor of diverse books and articles in specialized journals.

· At FEMU, she has had the following positions: Scholarships' coordinator, vice- president and President . At the moment she is part of the honor council.
· She has organized several international and national congresses and conferences.
· At the moment she is part of the honor Council and active member of The International for Association Feminist Economics.

· Distinctions: some of the most important ones are: Presea Juana Ramirez de Asbaje UNAM to the most outstanding woman in this school. The National University Award in teaching (1996) and research (2002).

· First place of the Economic Research award: Master Jesus Silva Herzog in two occasions (1992 and 1996) and Medal Eligio Ancona of the government of the state of Yucatan, among others.

I am member of Directive Committee of Al-Muhasib, (Libanese Association of Accountants) México.

Visiting Scholar at University of California, Los Angeles, (UCLA), USA.

Goals for this position and the contribution you believe you can personally make if elected or appointed

It is very important to contribute to review IFUW financial statements, and to make some proposals to minimize financial risks; besides, as member of Finance Committee we discuse about budgeting planning.

What ideas do you have for how IFUW could attract outside funding?

We can attract outside funding for research projects, aborlout sustaintable development, which include gender equity, at World Bank, for example.
