Navarini Location Consulting, Chur, Switzerland, my own company, specialized in location and
site research, market studies, marketing, and regional development programs.

Knowledge of and/or experience in international relations, particularly in relation to refugees, that qualitfy to this position: |
I have no experience with refugees and refugee organizations. My experience and knowledge
lie in the field of marketing and finance.
Besides, I run for an office at the Hegg Hoffet Committee, because the Swiss NFA has a special
relationship with this Fund, and an innate interest in its well-being and survival. The Fund has
its seat in Switzerland, it has been supported for a long time by Swiss contributions, and it was
named after the Swiss national, Mrs. Hegg Hoffet, who served the Fund for many years.
Next to my marketing and financial experience and skills, gained through academic studies,
work for various companies, and my own business, I gathered relevant experience by serving
on the
- Board of Business and Professional Women Switzerland, BPW, as a section Treasurer, from 1993-1997, organising, among other things, fundraising boutiques and dinners for
humanitarian reasons
- Board of the Swiss Federation of University Women, SVA, as Treasurer, from 2003 up to now
- Board of the University Women of Europe, UWE, as Treasurer, from 2008 up to now |
| Goals for this position and the contribution you believe you can personally make if elected or appointed |
I would be committed to improving the visibility and the fundraising capacity of the Hegg
Hoffet Fund, by making it again a Swiss business, to reignite the interest of NFAs in the Fund. |
What strategies do you think the Committee could use to increase NFA involvement and support for the Hegg Hoffet Fund? |
I would try to convince the European NFAs to set up fundraising boutiques at their own AGMs,
by addressing the CERs and Presidents, most of whom I know from my job at UWE's.
I would also try to convince them to set aside a fraction of their dues income for the Hegg
Hoffet Fund, just as we do it in Switzerland. |
