Research:

1. Problems and Challenges of Women Living in Soweto-Narnuwongo.  A slum in Kampala, Uganda

2. Gender Insensitivity Among Teachers in Primary Education in Uganda: A Case for Kamili District

3. Determinants of Career and Professional Development for Female Teachers in four selected districts of Uganda.

4. The Impact of Land Tenure System and Women's Knowledge on Resource Management in Manjiya County, Mbale District, Uganda

5. Mechanism of Resource Mobilization for Support of Universal Free Primary Education by Women of Mbale District in Uganda

My experience in the above two women's NGOs as a leader exposed me to a diversity of gender issues.  The research I have carried out above  helped me to have a deeper understanding  of the status of women in Uganda and the world at large.  Currently I  am leading research on popularizing science education for girls in Uganda.

Goals for the position and the contribution the candidate believes she can personally make if elected or appointed

I would like women all over the world to get to know and understand the status of women in both developed and third world countries.

- To help women in the Western World know that Africa is not one big country but many diverse small units with a diversity of tribes and languages as well as culture.Therefore should be treated differently in their individual contexts.

- Contribute to current global debates

- Carry out research if called upon

- Help organise awareness seminars with the purpose of generating solutions affecting women lining in various parts of the world and under different living conditions

-  Advocate for women in general at different forums
