As
a member of the Committee for the Award of International Fellowships,
my goal would be to work as a member of a team: to provide support
and enhance one of IFUW's key priorities, "The promotion of
lifelong learning, especially for women and girls" to identify
applicants who intend to undertake studies in IFUW's three key areas
for action: Education, the Information Society, and Human Security
and Peace to place university education within the reach of women,
who are, at present, unable to access it to enable women to undertake
advanced degree courses to enhance women's participation in scientific
and technological fields to support advanced research, study and
training for women graduates to provide education to women who may
proceed to positions of influence and high level decision-making
in their countries to enable women and girls to achieve their educational
goals.
