| Goals
for the position and the contribution the candidate believes she can
personally make if elected or appointed |
I
have enjoyed working on the IFUW Resolutions Committee. I am familiar
with the work of the committee and I am prepared to do the work
required.
In 2005 - 06 the CFUW Education Committee of which I was chair prepared
and presented a resolution on English/ French as a Second Language
to the CFUW Annual General Meeting. This resolution was accepted.
The CFUW resolutions process allows for extensive consultation with
our clubs. This consultation process has developed over the past
few years and now is carried out mainly by email. I hope that in
IFUW we will see that the increasing use of email communication
will encourage more input from NFAs to the resolutions process |
