I have participated in research projects and legislative analysis, I coordinated two of them, at the Institute of Legal Research, National Autonomous University of Mexico, to several government agencies such as: Institute of Security and Social Services for State Workers (ISSSTE ), Attorney General of the Republic (PGR), Ministry of Public Security (SSP).

I belong to the core of Health and Law of the Legal Research Institute, where we conducted research to build public policy on health, and subsequently published in books.

I belong to the organizing committee of the IFUW triennial conference 2010, to be held in Mexico this year.

I have given lectures and workshops on the Status of Women in universities and nongovernmental organizations. I have given courses to prevent violence and discrimination against girls and women as well as legal advice to battered women.

Goals for this position and the contribution you believe you can personally make if elected or appointed

My main goal would be to publicize the woman situation in Mexico, to reach this goal, I will review the information and statistics that have been developed on the situation of women in my country, based on key indicators of the sources of demographic statistics and recent or available to perform an accurate diagnosis on the situation of women, since it is essential to promote public policies and assess the actions undertaken in order to achieve gender equity.

It is true that in some countries there has been considerable progress in the development of women, but we haven´t relevant information, relating to released women, and the information we have it is only from some countries. The Economic Social Council of the United Nations recognized the importance of statistics for the implementation and continuation of global conference agreements, encouraging countries and regional and international agencies to work together to create effective systems, especially in countries where the development to produce the necessary data so we can really assess the progress of women worldwide.
