Professional Field and/or Present Occupation Chartered Accountant.  Retired but involved in various local charities as auditor.  Financial advisor as required.
Skills and experience from the last 10 years which qualify her for this position

Experience: Previously member of the Finance Committee from 1992-1998.  40 Years in the professional world of finance and taxation in the course of my working life in professional practice.

BFWG National Treasurer 1986-1992

Member of British Finance Committee presently, also 1980-1986

Professional Experience: Includes auditor for large and medium sized commercial enterprises; managing trusts for a short period with a professional firm.  Recently retired from consultancy in corporate and personal taxation with a city of London firm of chartered accountants.

Other: Have been governor of BFWG Charitable Foundation; also member of its Finance and Grants Committee.  Involvement with local church and charities finances in one form or another.  IFUW Conferences attended: Gröningen (alternate); Christchurch, Helsinki, and Stanford (delegate); Graz and Ottawa (observer); Perth (delegate).
Goals for the position and the contribution the candidate believes she can personally make if elected or appointed Goal: to assist in the maintenance of a sound financial basis upon which IFUW can rely, in the pursuit of its objectives.  My 40 years professional experience in the field of finance in one form or another would be available to the Finance Committee.
Education: Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.  Qualified in 1963
