The Turkish Association of University Women and its branches celebrate International Women's Day every year. The celebrations mainly take the form of panels and conferences organized independently or in collaboration with sister NGO's. They are not fundraising events.
In Istanbul-Türkiye, where the Headquarters is located, the Federation of Istanbul Women Organizations, the Association of Republic Women, the Women's Association of Legal Profession, Soroptomists, the Lioness Club, and other organizations work together to arrange joint celebrations.
