The most important IWD event in Guelph, a city of 120,000 in southwestern Ontario, is the IWD Breakfast held by the local Zonta Club. This is a large event that has been held for approximately 12 years. It is supported by CFUW Club members as individuals.
At the breakfast, the Zonta members present awards to young women from each of the local high schools in recognition of their contributions to their community and school.
