Pre- and Post-Conference Tours

The Local Arrangements Committee is organizing the following tours:

Pre-Conference

• Drama and Pageantry in Stratford-upon-Avon: 7- 9 August 2007 TOUR CLOSED
• Edinburgh, Scotland: 3 - 9 August 2007 TOUR CLOSED

Post-Conference

• The Palace of the Peaks - Chatsworth: 17 August 2007
• Yorkshire Heritage - Harrogate: 17 - 20 August 2007 TOUR CLOSED
• The Jane Austen Tour - Winchester and Bath: 17 - 22 August 2007 TOUR CLOSED

General tour information:

• All tours, except Edinburgh, will start and finish in Manchester.
• The Edinburgh tour does not include travel between Edinburgh and Manchester.
• Where times are not stated you may need to clarify the arrival or departure times with the organisers to decide whether you need to stay an extra night in the area.
• Places on some of the tours will be limited in number. If insufficient interest is shown in any particular tour it may be withdrawn or amended; if a tour appears likely to be oversubscribed we will consider whether the numbers can be expanded.
