Interdisciplinary Seminars

"WORKING ON THE MILLENNIUM DEVELOPMENT GOALS"

Seven seminars related to the IFUW Programme for Action: Women Agents for Change - Education, Information Society, Peace and Human Security will look at progress towards achieving the United Nations Millennium Development Goals. 

The Call for Papers for the Interdisciplinary Seminars at the 2007 IFUW Triennial Conference invited members and friends to submit papers that addressed the theme of Working on the Millennium Development Goals (MDG) in relation to the three pillars of the IFUW Programme for Action: Education, the Information Society and Human Security and Peace. A special section (C4) invited papers that identified matters that were considered to be given too little attention in the MDG. For information on the MDG, see http://www.undp.org/mdg/
