Bina Roy Partners in Development - BRPID
BRPID projects are funded by donations from IFUW members and supporters around the world. This year we are trying a new fund-raising approach. Descriptions of the eight projects and the funding needed have been posted on the 2011 Projects page. NFAs, local associations and individuals who wish to support this important work can make a donation by clicking on the special button under the project of their choice.
The full amounts received from the donations will be applied to the projects. General donations are also welcome. General contributions will go to increasing the number and/or size of the awards that can be offered in the next round.
When the amount needed for a specific project has been reached, the website will show that it is fully funded. IFUW has advanced money from the BRPID Fund to help the projects selected to get underway. The contributions that are received during the year for specific projects will cover the remaining project costs and reimburse the Fund for the advance, so that it will be available for the next competition. The BRPID Fund will cover the shortfall for any projects that do not receive sufficient donations.
