Samoa Association of Women Graduates (SAWG)
Educational Scholarships Project

This project has been in operation since 2003 and assists with the payment of tuition fees and, where appropriate, the provision of uniforms for a small number of promising girls students in financial need. Currently there is one scholarship each for four institutions: National University of Samoa (NUS), a secondary school, an education center for disabled students, and the National Council for Early Childhood Education.

Tuition fees are provided at the start of the academic year and SAWG hopes to keep funding students until they complete their courses. The project focuses on students from rural areas. The SAWG Executive also offers mentoring to scholarship students. .
