Branch Leadership Project

The purpose of the project is to gather branches together for leadership training and a local prgramme-planning conference around the UNESCO theme of Child Friendly Cities.  The project will focus on gender disparities between men and women in the fields of science and technology.

The leadership training programme will take place in Moscow. Follow-up activities will continue with leaders in 14 branches. Two members from each branch and national officers will be invited to participate in the conference. Communication strategies will be established and the central office will monitor timelines, and give assistance on project implementation.

The project will be carried out with the cooperation of the Moscow Institute for Social and Gender Policy, the Pedagogical Institute of St. Petersburg, Moscow State University Gender Research Department.
