to Support BRPID

The
Bina Roy Partners in Development Programme (BRPID) supports projects in
developing countries and countries in transition. IFUW members throughout
the world can participate in this exciting programme.
BRPID
project regulations:
- Only one project
per country can qualify
- Projects can include
community services, fellowships, organizational development and capacity
building, or other innovative programmes related to the advancement
of women and girls. Wherever possible, the projects should relate to
the current IFUW programme focus.
- Proposals are
evaluated by the IFUW Projects Committee to ensure
viability, cost effectiveness, suitability and development potential.
Committee Members are available to assist national affiliates in preparing
project proposals.
- The maximum BRPID funding in 2008, is 40% of the dues payable to IFUW.
To submit a new project or renew an existing project:
- Complete the new on-line BRPID
Project Application Form (French
and Spanish
versions also available) no later than 30April 2008. If you experience
difficulties, please contact IFUW Headquarters.
- Be sure to include the number of paid-up members of national federation
or association at the end of your financial year 2007.
