Bina Roy Partners in Development - BRPID

Overview

The Bina Roy Partners in Development Programme (BRPID) encourages international solidarity and partnerships among IFUW federations and associations. Its primary goal is to support projects empowering women and girls through education and leadership development. Donations from IFUW members world-wide make these projects possible.

BRPID grants are awarded to IFUW National Federations and Associations (NFAs) on a competitive basis. Part of the goal is to help strengthen NFA project capacity and increase their ability to obtain outside funding. The IFUW Projects Committee closely monitors the selected projects and will offer assistance with establishing evaluation frameworks.

The BRPID grants range from 1000 to 2000 Swiss francs and will cover a twelve-month period beginning 1 September. The annual deadline for application is 1 July.

Donations from IFUW NFAs, branches and individual members received during the year funds projects the following year.
