Commission on the Status of Women (CSW), 2010  IFUW Delegates at the Pre-planning meeting
The Commission on the Status of Women this year undertook a fifteen-year review of the implementation of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action (BPFA). Emphasis was placed on the sharing of experiences and good practices, with a view to overcoming remaining obstacles and new challenges, including those related to the Millennium Development Goals.
IFUW was represented by a team of 22 delegates: Louise Croot, IFUW President and leader of the delegation; Sushil Bhardwaj and Shirley Randell, IFUW Vice Presidents; Catherine Moore, Loretta James and Polly Woodard, IFUW UN Representatives in New York; Ilona Graenitz, IFUW UN Representative in Vienna; Salma Khan and Nazmunnessa Mahtab (Bangladesh); Leena-Maija Laurén and Sonya Höstman (Finland); Renée Gerard (France); Tamara Kiknadze, Khatuna Charkviani, Eleonora Mjavanadze and Grigolia Ketevan (Georgia); Ati Blom (The Netherlands); Verena Welti (Switzerland); Griselda Kenyon (UK); Shaila Mistry, Jeannette Westbrook and Alice Siqin Yang (USA).
