Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) The 53rd Session of the Commission on the Status of Women in New York (2-13 March 2009) had "The equal sharing of of responsibilities between women and men, including caregiving in the context of HIV/AIDS" as its main theme and "Equal participation of women and men in decision-making processes at all levels" as its review theme. This year IFUW sent its biggest delegation ever, with 29 members attending. 4.) The Finnish Federation of University Women, in cooperation with other Finnish organizations, presented the Fourth International Helvi Sipilä Seminar "She Says NO to Violence”.
